The Nike Dunk Low has been a beloved sneaker since its debut in 1985, drawing inspiration from various sources over the years. The latest release pays tribute to fishing traditions in Oregon, featuring a sleek combination of nylon and suede on the upper. The grey tones of the shoe are offset by a rich blue hue on the hairy panels and tongue label, referencing bodies of water in Beaverton, Ore. The sidewall Swooshes also nod to fishing hooks with their point and scale-like finish. The aged yellow midsole adds a vintage touch, and the shoebox features water graphics.
The Nike Dunk Low “Gone Fishing” is set to release on Nike SNKRS in the summer. In related news, the Air Jordan 1 “Lucky Green” is slated to release in April for the whole family. Stay tuned for more sneaker news and updates.
