According to a report by Brendan Dunne of Complex, Nike is set to introduce a new modified design of the popular Dunk silhouette in 2023, known as the Nike Dunk Low Twist. This move is aimed at satisfying the insatiable demand for the Dunk by the market.
The new Dunk Low Twist is set to feature in the popular “Panda” color scheme and boasts a range of new and familiar elements, including double-layered overlays reminiscent of the Air Force 1 Low Shadow and protruding Swoosh overlays similar to recent AMBUSH x Nike collaborations. Additionally, the sneakers will feature inflated rear quilting and “bumpers” at the toe and heel, among many other modifications.
Aside from the Panda option, the brand has announced several follow-up releases, including colorways in White/Jade Ice, Coconut Milk/Vivid Sulfur, and Rush Fuchsia/Black. The Dunk Low Twist is expected to launch as part of Nike’s Spring/Summer 2023 lineup, but unforeseen supply chain issues may result in delays.
