Nike is set to release the Kobe Bryant signature shoe, the Kobe 4 “Gigi,” this Spring. Since the agreement between the Kobe Bryant Estate and Nike was resumed in early 2022, fans have been eagerly waiting for the next release in the Kobe sneaker series. The “Gigi” edition pays tribute to Kobe’s late daughter and is a follow-up to the “Gigi” sneaker released earlier this year.
The predominantly white-based shoe features accents of black, including embroidered Swooshes. The shoe includes “GIGI” motifs in gold on the rear above her #2, separated by a monochrome gingham graphic rear clip. Kobe’s signature is etched onto the lateral side of the shoe, and gold Kobe logos sit atop the tongue. The shoe is completed with black and white sole units. Fans of the basketball legend and sneaker enthusiasts alike can look forward to the release of the Nike Kobe 4 “Gigi” on May 1st, 2023, which would have been Gianna’s 17th birthday.
