Releasing Holiday 2023: Nike Kobe 6 “Reverse Grinch”

Introducing the highly anticipated Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Reverse Grinch,” set to arrive during the Holiday 2023 season. This release offers an alternate take on the iconic Christmas sneaker that originally debuted in 2011. The original green “Grinch” colorway, part of Nike Basketball’s annual “Christmas Pack,” featured a vibrant green upper, bold red laces, and black swooshes. Inspired by the Green Mamba snake, reflecting Kobe’s Black Mamba alter-ego, it became an instant classic. Following the tragic passing of the five-time NBA champion, a “Protro” version was released on Christmas Eve 2020.

Now, we get a first glimpse of the “Reverse Grinch” edition, courtesy of leaked teasers by k9_itsiant. The sneakers showcase a striking Bright Crimson exterior on the scaly TPU panels, tongue, and outsole. Electric Green accents highlight the laces and Kobe’s menacing sheath logo on the tongue and heel. With its captivating design, the “Reverse Grinch” Kobes are undoubtedly one of the most exceptional sequels in Nike Basketball history.
