Almost two decades ago, when sneaker collaborations with rappers were still a rarity, Nike created exclusive Terror Squad-branded Air Force 1s for Fat Joe, intended only for friends and family. The situation will change this summer, with at least two “Terror Squad” Air Force 1 designs finally available for retail purchase.

During an interview with Complex, Joe confirmed this news and also mentioned the existence of an additional exclusive friends & family colorway. He has previously stated that the late Virgil Abloh approached him with the concept of creating Off-White x Terror Squad Air Force 1 collaborations before his passing. This interaction led to Nike and Joe working together on the upcoming retail versions.

Now, months after Joe debuted the White/Black colorway, the official Nike.com imagery for the release has landed.

The release details for these sneakers are still unknown, but with summer around the corner and official images already available, it’s safe to say that a release is imminent. Stay tuned to our official Twitter account for updates.
